my darlings, we'll keep love alive even on texas time.

WSAC!
I am all settled into my new digs in Austin (the vegan co-op is awesome) and wanted to just write you all a quick note to say a few things:

-I love you all so much
-I am excited to stay in touch regarding mpls brand activism and WSAC loveliness
-everything on my end is going well - I'm working as the Volunteer Coordinator at a non-profit downtown that provides social programming for homeless and impoverished individuals (more on this later as I figure out exactly what's going on)
-any/all of you have a place to stay if you're ever in central texas - no questions asked.

end of the year t-shirt making extravaganza

okay everyone,
the end of the semester is quickly approaching (eek) and I'm going to make some stencils so that we can have a DIY WSAC clothing making extravaganza (per the title of this post).

so, what I need from you all: ideas for what you want the stencils to be of....here's what I have so far...

- WSAC (obviously)
- "Ff" and "is for Feminist"
- maybe expanding on this theme...
----"Pp" "is for Pride"
----"Vv" "is for Voice"
----"Ee" "is for Equality"
----etc...

I thought this theme would work well for Pride items too, specifically the tote bags.

Take Back the Night WSAC Speech

We are here today for two reasons – to support the survivors in our community because no one should have to suffer alone, and to stand, together, against violence – against those who perpetrate violence and against a society that normalizes violence.

The Women’s Student Activist Collective strives to empower women, transgender, and gender non-conforming people to make positive changes in society by eliminating interrelated inequalities that produce oppression, with a focus on gender and sexuality.
