Spring 2011 events in WSAC!

Hi folks,

It's been a while since we updated, and for a minute there our website wasn't up and running, but don't worry--WSAC is alive and well and coming up with more awesome programming for YOU!

Our next event is a Stop FBI Repression panel event on Feb 22 at noon in Coffman 325. Meet twin cities anti-war activists who've been targeted by the FBI and subpoenaed to appear before a Grand Jury, and learn about how the case is threatening our civil liberties and free speech rights, and what students can do to help these activists! This event is cosponsored by Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) at the U of M, and free lunch will be provided!

If you are interested in joining WSAC, come to our meetings on Thursdays at 4:30pm in Coffman 202! To join our programming team and help plan future events this semester, like our upcoming activist skill share series, come to Programming meetings at 4pm on Tuesdays in Coffman 202.

Also, watch for our upcoming Viva la Vulva concert on April 16th at Tarnish & Gold gallery (1511 Marshall NE Minnepaolis). If you would like to submit artwork for our weeklong artshow "A Room of OUR Own: Community Spaces and Social Justice," please do so via emailing wsac@umn.edu. The due date for submissions is Feb. 25.

Thanks!
Grace & WSAC
