10/26/09 WSAC Meeting Agenda
-Announcement: WSAC apparently can’t share space with groups we aren’t working in coalition with. All this means is that groups who want to use 202 need to work more closely with WSAC, i.e. put WSAC business on every agenda.
-Amnesty International, UPCC, SDS, Campus Beyond Coal/Sierra Club
-Bufandas by Yolanda (Knitting Group) wants to meet every Friday 12-1. Ok by collective.
-Campus Against Coal rep Kate: wants us to sign on to their campaign. Tabled until more information is present.
-Big Love or Feed My Starving Children
-No one was able to go.
-North Star Roller Girls evaluations.
-10/28 Wednesday 12:15-1:15pm: QSCC community outreach planning meeting. Opportunity for coalition work.
-Anyone from WSAC want to attend and/or have ideas for events to co-sponsor with the Q? Grace will go to meeting, Mia will email some ideas.
-10/28 6:30pm Global Women: “A Question of Silence.” We need more WSACers to attend than last screening. Free pizza!
-10/29 Pro-Choice Costume party at Kitty Cat Klub. 6pm. 21+.
-11/2 Stacey Burns importance about clinics: info session. Sara & Grace report back from Fargo 5pm. Info about becoming an escort.

-11/5 Thursday 5:30pm Can SDS hold community forum. re: Campaign SOS in Coff 202? Small group to represent WSAC.

-11/9 Monday 7pm WSAC goes to the movies: Sophie’s Idea: “Divided we fall: Americans in the Aftermath.” --Should we keep it internal? No. Open it up to other student groups. If you want to come, stop by the office to RSVP and meet one of the active members! Can’t wait to see you. Deadline 11/2 Monday before.
-We need an advertising committee to be in charge of ordering promo materials.
-banner, magnets, stickers, etc. We allotted ~$1000 so now we just need a committee to pick stuff out and get it approved by collective and ORDER IT!
-Brook is in charge. With Kira, Andrea, Rachel also working.
-Brook: ecofeminist potluck? Tabled.
-Lindsey: crafting party. We need more buttons. Button making party Monday before the meeting 11/9 from 11-3pm.
-MN CAFÉ: Ami wonders if we want a rep to come talk to WSAC about joining & to borrow button maker. We want them to come in and make their buttons here! Yay, more coalition work!
-Diva Cups: $29.99 from Seward Co-op. Slightly cheaper than online, plus we get a 10% discount when we order 10. ~$270 before tax.
-Mia: Mission statement revision proposal. Meeting to revise mission and constitution Friday November 6, 4pm. Important meeting!
-WSAC concert/show. December 10th! Yay!
