-Today is our last day to get our workshop idea in for IWD!! Saturday March 6th. Grace’s idea of Socialist Feminism is a GO.

-“Divided we fall” tonight 7pm. Dinner first? Where to meet, at the Theatre 6:45pm? 7 tickets purchased. Dezee can’t come, so possible extra ticket.

-11/15 BSU invited us to a Unity Dinner 6:30-9 in Coffman Great Hall. Business prof. attire. Need to RSVP by this Wednesday by email wsac@umn.edu if you can go. Speakers from the community, free food catered, should be a good time.

-Global Women: Molly suggested we do handbills in addition to posters? Maybe advertise in the Wake? November 18th Slumdog Millionaire. December 2nd Persepolis December 9th Volver. Molly to make flier for Slumdog. Lindsay, Andrea, Kira to help hand out fliers and handbills.

-11/11 Wednesday 5:30-8:00pm Reproductive Rights Coalition event: Sophie. Mississippi Room. Keynote Speakers, Panel Discussion, sponsored by the Reproductive Rights Coalition.

-DDPP response. is this acceptable? YES! Shall we dance? YES! 12/3 Thursday.

-11/15 Sunday Socialist Alternative Concert and March for LGBT Equality: Kira. Minneapolis Government Center meet downtown 2pm. Spoken word endorsed, SDS, possibly QSCC, WSAC endorse? YES!

-Social Justice Leadership Retreat (1/16-18), applications due 11/12. Anyone want to go? Kira, Sophie. WSAC sponsor a member? (table the sponsor)

-Expanding our resource library. We spent $240 at Arise, $83 at Mayday, $50 at amazon.com (for Valenti’s books), and $100 at A Room of One’s Own Bookstore (Madison WI) for the requested books we couldn’t find elsewhere. Check out new stuff on top of bookshelf!

-Women Make Movies: Last week to look at the catalogue and request films before we make collective decision on what to spend ~$500 on! Weigh in on the website forum or email wsac@umn.edu.

-Budget for rock show [Viva la Vulva]: all bands sounded flexible for pricing, just told me how much they usually get paid..Caroline Smith $800-$1000(gah!), the Vignettes $300, Kitten Forever $300 and Raccoon Raccoon: whatever. DJ: $200. [tabled]

-BMW wants to work with us, but have no ideas. Think about co-sponsoring ideas for next week.

-QSCC working with WSAC in coalition. Possible Gender-Bending workshop? Etc.

-“The feminists are in” tabling. Volunteers? Availability? Candy? Have laptop for tough questions/sample questions? Sophie email wsac@umn.edu about members’ availability.

-Smitten Kitten sex toy party at Grace’s place Nov. 20th? Deposit $40. Free diva cups for raffle? Toys for WSAC to buy and raffle off at Viva la Vulva. If you want to come and don’t know where Grace lives email wsac@umn.edu.

-Carnal knowledge Jeopardy? with raffle/silent auction of smitten kitten stuff etc. to benefit women’s shelter? [table]
