• 12/1 5-7:30 – The Red Revolution Part Deux. WSACers to go?
• 12/1 8pm – Diversity and Social Justice ice cream: Who can go with Kira
• 12/2 12pm State Capitol rotunda: Rally to stop the abortion coverage ban. WSACers to go? If you can go email upcc@umn.edu.
• 12/2 12pm Morrill 238: Tom & Jerry meet S.O.S.: WSAC rep? Andrea or Amanda?
• 12/5 1pm – Protest escalation to war in Afghanistan: Hiawatha & Lake St. (Iraq Peace Action Coalition)
• 12/12 SDS house party at Andrew’s! WSACers invited to go!
• Clothing Swap week! Need more promo and clothes. Coat rack? Where to donate?
• 12/2 6pm “Persepolis.” WSACers to go/facilitate? Classroom announcements/Daily promotion? Nah. Too expensive.. The movie is in Grace’s office desk tray.
• 12/10 Viva La Vulva!
o Bedlam contract, need multiple concert payment receivers
o Advertising: Wake, handbills, posters. Neighborhood postings: Lyndale Lindsey, Lexi Como, Mia Seward, Grace West Bank/Hard Times, Molly NE Aveda/Lunds, etc.
o Volunteer shifts and duties: sign up.
o Prize Drawing, NOT raffle
o PROMO!: invite friends through facebook, poster in campus, dorms, AND community; classes
o Molly: Shirts are ordered!
o Lindsay is making a box possibly by with the help of Carla.
• 12/11 Friday WSAC goes roller skating? Molly: Roller Garden in Saint Louis Park. $7 = skate rental, admission, desserts, 9pm-12am. Sponsored by VitaMN. Carpool: Lindsay’s Car. Meet at 8:30pm room 202. Molly, Grace, Andrea.
• Rachel: banner for WSAC. Horizontal, probably vinal. Women’s Student Activist Collective, and logo. Max price of $250.
• Mission language: Mia. Passed. The purpose of the Women’s Student Activist Collective is to empower women, transgender, and gender non-conforming people to make positive changes in society by eliminating interrelated inequalities that produce oppression, with a focus on gender and sexuality.
• Dance Dance Party Party: pick a date in February that works for us for WSAC discount night. Tabled.
• Brook: WSAC needs new computers. Approved. 1 Mac and 1 PC.
• Internship?/ Can staff person (Grace) work more?
• Ideas for speakers for next semester? Tabled
