Here are some pictures from last wednesday. Sara from wsac, Drea from upcc, and myself went to fargo to defend the Red River Women's Clinic on the first day of the anti-choice 40 Days of Life campaign. The clinic staff were very happy to have us, and we made a lot of new pro-choice friends. And even one pro-life friend: see hilarious picture.

Stop Police Brutality!

Recently released videos show police officers using excessive force against
Nicholas Kastner and Derryl Jenkins. In both cases the videos show the
victims being kicked while lying on the ground face down.

Last May hundreds protested the clearing of a police officer after a lawsuit
was filed against police brutality in the shooting death of Fong Lee, a
Hmong youth in north Minneapolis. Another victim, an innocent bystander
during a police operation, recently won a settlement of $495,000. He needed

-Film screening evaluation: "4 Months, 3 Weeks&2Days" was well liked. Peeps
want a bigger screen though. We will look into this.

-Next Global Women film: "La Boda" on 9/30 6pm in Coffman 202. Afaf and
Amanda volunteered to make the flyer for this--can anyone help
distribute/promote?

First of all, welcome to the new wsac/upcc members who recently signed up. Many of you signed up during our counter-protest of the
Genocide Awareness Project (the anti-abortion group that misuses the term
